SISFA hits back at union backed fund claims in today's AFR that they have exacerbated Australia's housing affordability problem as wildly overblown.

In a supplementary submission to a Productivity Commission inquiry, the self-managed sector hit back at several attacks made by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, including claims that do-it-yourself schemes misallocate capital, deprive the government of revenue and may harm the economy as members age and lose mental capacity.
